WI CHMM Chapter Meeting
Wednesday, March 21, 2012
The meeting will be held from 12:30 - 2:30 pm at Jones Island Water Treatment Facility, 300 Jones Island, Milwaukee, WI.  Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at how a wide variety of hazardous materials are safely managed by Veolia Water Milwaukee. The tour will last approximately 1.5 hours with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn about how Milwaukee’s sewage is turned into both Milorganite fertilizer and fresh water! RSVP is required (max 15 individuals).  The facility will provide hard hats and safety glasses; safety shoes not required. HazWoper Refresher Seminar

The WI CHMM Chapter will host a HazWoper Refresher program to meet the annual refresher training requirements under OSHA’s standards for general industry and the construction industry on hazardous waste operations and emergency response (29 CFR 1910.120 or 29 CFR 1926.65).   The seminar will be held at Radisson Milwaukee West, 2303 N Mayfair Rd, Milwaukee, WI.  For additional information, contact FET at 262-437-1700
