Computer-Based Testing (CBT) for the CHMM Exam
As some of you may be aware, the Institute of Hazardous Material Managers (IHMM) has now implemented Computer-Based Testing (CBT) for the CHMM exam. Exams will now be given during the last two weeks of odd numbered months. You need to register with IHMM at www.IHMM.org at least 6 (six) weeks PRIOR to the exam date.
Next Available Testing Dates: March 18-31, 2010, May 17-31, 2010, July 18-31, 2010, September 17-30, 2010, November 17-30, 2010, January 18-31, 2011
These tests will be held at one of the following locations in our area. If you are not sure how CBT works, the exam will be loaded onto a computer in a supervised area where you will be taking your test along with others taking other kinds of tests (e.g. ACT)

CHMP EXAM
The institute is now offering the Certified Hazardous Material Practitioner (CHMP) Exam. If you do not have a degree, this may be the certification for you. This exam is less technical and focuses on math and science at the high school level. Starting in September, these exams will be offered the last two weeks of even number months at the same locations.
