The March 21, 2018 annual HAZWOPER refresher course was held with 25 participants.  Thanks to Kevin O’Brien and John Spahr for organizing the course on behalf of the CHMM chapter.  After the course, the Annual CHMM Business Meeting was held.  Eight individuals (Melissa Bitter, Troy Stucke, Fred Ringle, Robert Evangelisti, Kevin O’Brien, Dan Brady, Anthony Montemurro and John Spahr) participated in the meeting, six are included in the corresponding photo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Information and ideas exchanged during the CHMM Business Meeting included:

• Add additional information in the presentation how the WI CHMM chapter is integrated into the FET organization.
• Promotional ideas for the newly developed “FIFRA, TSCA, RMP and PSM . . . OH MY!” Seminar being held at Liberty Hall in Kimberly, WI on May 30, 2018 to ensure robust attendance.
• June 2018 chapter event: happy hour or for future development – Brewer game tailgate?
• Fall/winter 2018 seminar idea: DOT seminar?
• IHMM offers other related certifications such as Certified Hazardous Materials Practitioner (CHMP) and Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP) certifications. How do we best encourage their participation in the WI CHMM chapter?
